SET-BC (Special Education Technology)

A provincial outreach program that loans assistive technology and provides training to BC school districts. SET-BC helps students with disabilities (e.g. those who are non-verbal, blind/low vision, or have physical challenges) access the curriculum by providing equipment like speech-generating devices, adapted computers, or switch controls, and trains teachers to use these tools effectively, enabling neurodiverse learners to participate more independently. These assistive devices can be very important to students education and experience when needed. Click the link below to learn more and visit the SET-BC site.
