The Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders (POPARD) supports BC educators working with autistic students. POPARD provides consulting services to schools (a specialist might observe a student and suggest strategies), offers training workshops on topics like positive behaviour support or social skills, and develops teaching resources, all to promote successful inclusion of students on the autism spectrum in neighborhood classrooms.
