Welcome to the UBC Farm!
This site was created on Tapestry – a UBC initiative that creates an interactive WordPress site. Some tips and instructions to navigate this site:
- The tour will not work using the Safari browser, but should work on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer
- To access content in any of the nodes (the circles), first click on that node and then the icon at the top of the circle. Some of the content will be written, some will be photos or videos, and some will be audio.
- Try to start with the virtual tour (#3) – this will take you to a map of the farm where you can click on different locations at the farm. This will take you to an immersive 360 degree photos for each location. In those photos you will be able to click on icons for additional information, listen to audio files that describe the farm, and watch videos. You can also move between locations/photos to explore the farm.
- The virtual tour can load slowly and may not work on all browsers.
- If the virtual tour won’t load or doesn’t work on your computer, you can access all of the individual content for the tour on the Tapestry site through the appropriate nodes (nodes are labelled 1, 2, 3, …. to help guide your navigation).
- Some of the content is provided through 360º photos and videos. Make sure the click and drag around the photo or video to explore the farm. Links providing audio and video files and other information are also present.
