The process asks people to identify any symptoms they might experience and how it might impact daily life. As a practitioner, you may need to spend time with people to help them build their awareness \/ personal observations about these ideas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00a0You might help someone complete this worksheet and ask them to\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Consider if you live with symptoms (things related to your illness) and describe the impact of symptoms on your daily life<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You might then ask them to\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Identify anything they might do to support health and wellbeing related to the impact of\u00a0 symptoms on daily life\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are some examples to help guide you:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Example #1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Symptom:<\/strong> Feeling anxious<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Impact on Daily Life: <\/strong>Avoiding people<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Action:<\/strong> With help from a friend, rehearse 1- 2 sentences and talk to one person in the day using those sentences. Slowly increase frequency of contacts, monitor progress, and celebrate success.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Example #2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Symptom:<\/strong> Feeling you are not accomplishing life's milestones and feeling hopeless<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Impact on Daily Life: <\/strong>Feeling uncomfortable talking with your co-workers and ultimately skipping work\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Action:<\/strong> Seek mental health support to identify and engage in strengths. Use self-talk to highlight strengths and try to use those strengths at work. Monitor progress and adjust if needed. Remember to celebrate your success!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Example #3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Symptom:<\/strong> Difficulty concentrating in class<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Impact on Daily Life: <\/strong>Stopping school attendance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Action:<\/strong> Work with the school's disability support to identify strategies that can help you enhance concentration in class.
